MFT Release Countdown Day 1 - Spooky Scene

Thanks for stopping by for Day 1 of the Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! Tonight at 10pm EST you'll have full access to all of the products we've been tempting and teasing you with this past week. You can find complete details at the MFT Blog along with information on how to win an MFT voucher to put toward your wishlist!

Today's card combines a few different products from this release with the emphasis on today's featured products - Spooky Scene, Spooky Sentiments and Cheesecloth Background.

The Spooky Window is boarded up with the wood grain embossed boards from Blueprints 17. I trimmed down the boards using various edges of the Washi Tape Die-namics. Tip: only die cut the very end of your board so that you don't lose the wood grain finish.

The inside is finished off with a Spooky Sentiment and one more floaty ghost. I sliced open the top edge of the sentiment banner with a craft knife, just long enough for the ghost to slip through and was then able to secure him on the back of the card so my adhesive wouldn't show through the vellum.

That wraps up my Release Countdown posts, which means we are only hours away from MFT's new release! I'll have more inspiration for you tonight during the New Product Launch, so stop back and see me. Thanks for your sweet comments this past week, I enjoy them - every one!
-Amy

Release Countdown product links will be available at 10pm EST tonight!

Your card is sweet. I'm still trying to figure out how you can actually cut a slit in the banner to slide the ghost in. Thanks for sharing.
