I've used Everyday is Christmas, the coordinating set to 12 Days of Christmas, for a non-holiday card. You can see just how far and wide you'll be able to stretch this stamp set, especially when you add its companion set, Feeling Sentimental,to your cart as well!
I water colored my 'turtle dove' image first and then used a few of the same Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens to create a water colored background. Then I heat embossed the sentiment from Feeling Sentiment on a black flag and assembled the whole scene along with a bit of washi tape and wood veneer stars from my stash. I'm always so inspired by my friend Kay Miller's watercolored backgrounds and tried to emulate her beautiful work (thanks, Kay!).
