I have three cards to share with you tonight featuring Watt's Up? paired with the Die-namics Lightbulb, a match made in crafty heaven!
I'm sorta in.love. with my embossing paste this week and combined it with the Sun Ray Stencil for a bit of texture on the Lemon Drop layer. The sentiment from Watt's Up? was stamped on one leg of a Primitive White Rectangle Frame for uniform size and shape.
Inside is the remaining part of the sentiment started on the front - SHINE in Red Hot Hybrid Ink. Elements from Blueprints 15 bring in the rest of my color combo.
My second card uses the Lightbulb Die-namics in the form of a cheery kite. To finish off my kite look, I borrowed the kite ties from Fly a Kite and Jumbo Kite Die-namics in Red Hot. The Flat Bottom Cloud is stamped with Pinstripe Background in Grout Gray ink for fun.
I again created a background using embossing paste and a stencil created with a scrap piece of card stock and the Polka Dot Cover Up Die-namics on a Sno Cone layer. I can't.stop. using Blueprints 15, so I apologize if you're tiring of these fun angled layers!
Of course, Watt's Up? was the perfect sentiment for this one. And how fun are those Sequins raindrops, and did I mention how much I puffy heart this release?!
Last, but not least, is a fun Lightbulb shaker card using the Sequins Die-namics for the shaker fill. The combination of the Lightbulb and Rectangle Frames Die-namics makes for super slick shaker cards.
The top side of the shaker is layered with vellum instead of typical acetate to give the illusion of a traditional lightbulb. The only drawback is not seeing those awesome Sequins as clearly...ah, the dilemmas of a papercrafter.
Inside is a mix of Blueprints 15, Sequins and Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics with a sentiment in Orange Fizz Hybrid Ink from Watt's Up. I think this would be a fun card to give to a certain special student (George) who will be graduating from kindergarten soon.
And there you have another look at Watt's Up and the Die-namics Lightbulb NOW available at My Favorite Things!
