Quilting Forever

Whipper Snapper is releasing two new sets today, illustrated by the Anna Wight. She's worked her magic on two quilting sets including Quilting Forever, which I 've used for my card today. Be sure to click on this link to see both sets being released. The other set is called Springtime Quilt which you'll be seeing more of later this month and into January.

For today's card, I stamped my quilt block image on K&Co. Classic K Margo patterned paper and then added a bit of paper piecing to achieve the look of a pieced quilt. Although this stamp is actually a double wedding ring pattern, the way I've pieced the images doesn't actually show off the "ring" part, but I liked it better this way. Even though I'm not a quilter (although using these sets are making me want to give it a try...), I have a feeling that quilting, much like stamping, really is good for the soul!
