Countdown to Confetti - You Are My Hero

It's Day 3 of Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti, just one day away from the June release! Today's card features a trendy new cover panel named Sunburst and a patriotic stamp set that you will love - Because of the Brave. I'm also incorporating Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts - your one stop shop for stars in all shapes and sizes!

 

I decided that the 'you are my hero' sentiment from Because of the Brave would make a perfect Father's Day card, so I've combined it with a die cut 'dad' (and pocket) from Tie-Rific Confetti Cuts, and it matches perfectly with the font used on 'hero' - cool, right?!

 

The tag is from In the Bag Confetti Cuts, and I trimmed it down so that it would fit neatly inside the pocket. Here's a quick look at how I used foam tape to make a 'stop' for tag.

 

Here's a look at the tag tucked inside the pocket. Did you happen to notice that sweet twine?! It too will be available tomorrow along with the June release, and it's called Firecracker - love it!
