Summertime Sweetness with SugarPea Designs

When I think of this summer, my thoughts immediately turn to my new grandson, Nolan, and the time we enjoyed spending with him over the past few weeks. Summer is also synonymous with anything nautical in my mind, so I fused my two summertime sweets together and came up with this adorable anchor onesie using a few of my favorite goodies from SugarPea Designs - Anchored & Sugar Cuts - Welcome Baby Accents

Inspired by my stamping buddy Karolyn's ink blending, I knew I wanted to somehow incorporate the technic into my card, so I did a little blending on the die cut onesie after clear embossing the anchor stamp from Anchored on it first. Ranger distress ink + watercolor paper are a dreamy blending duo! And how about that sentiment - is it not perfect for my Nolan? Lastly, take a peek at my stamped background using the same anchor stamp that I used on the onesie. LOVE stretching those stamps!

What pops into your head when you think of summer? I hope I've inspired you to join along with the SugarPea Designs Summertime Sweetness and will head on over the SugarPea Blog for complete details.

Thanks for stopping!
~Amy
