MFT Release Rewind - Stitched with Love Gift Set

Welcome to Day 1 of this month's Release Rewind with My Favorite Things! I've got a cozy gift set to share with you using Stitched with Love stamp set and Die-namics.

Rainbows are still the rage, so I created a literal version of 'cute as a button' using a handful of yummy MFT Buttons and coordinating MFT Dye Inks in a rainbow of color.

I fell in love with Laura Bassen's ombre backgrounds technic (seen HERE) and gave it a spin with the thread stamp from Stitched with Love.

I was over the moon to discover that I had everything on hand to make a cute pincushion jar using THIS easy to follow tutorial.
  • canning jar
  • fabric
  • stamps & ink (my version)
  • stuffing
(I pulled the stuffing from a stuffed animal that should've been thrown out looong ago)

Hybrid Lemon Drop ink + Large Scale Backgrounds (polka dots) perked up the plain fabric I had on hand. Just be sure to make sure you give your stamp a little extra pressure and time to let the ink soak into the fabric before lifting the stamp off.

Could the thimble/needle/button dies from Stitched with Love BE any cuter?

You'll find more inspiration from the MFT design team linked up at the MFT Blog, so stop over to see who's playing along today.
