Today's card features the Layered Umbrella and Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics along with sentiments from Blue Skies Ahead:
I created a watercolor-like background by pressing my Steel Grey and Steel Blue ink pads onto a craft sheet, spritzing it with water and then pressing a piece of watercolor paper into the ink. To create a cloudy, mottled look, I blotted randomly with a paper towel.
I love the pops of Lemon Drop and Red Hot in the Layered Umbrella and Fishtail Flag sentiment strip against the dreary watercolor background. The little black rain cloud is a leftover from the Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics, and the Steel Blue raindrops are actually the leaves dies from Blueprints 14.
Inside is another of the sentiments from Blue Skies Ahead, stamped in Steel Grey ink with plenty of 'white space' for a personal message.
