MFT New Product Launch - Star Background

I have three cards to share with you tonight featuring Star Background, a must-have backgrounder in your stamping arsenal. Think Christmas, Halloween, July 4th, babies and super heroes!

Speaking of super heroes, I've got a fun 'super baby' card up first using Star Background in combination with Oh Baby Die-namics and You're Super Die-namics. I hope this one puts a smile on your face!

I started with a Blu Raspberry A2 card base and stamped it with Star Background in Sweet Tooth ink and then let the layering fun begin, starting with a Starry Night Stencil embossed diaper held together with Lemon Drop tabs and a Night of Navy badge from You're Super.

Inside is a strip of collage background stamping using You're Super.

Second up is another baby card using Star Background stamped in Grout Gray on the Baby's Bib Die-namics.

The Sun, Moon & Stars Die-namics coordinates perfectly with Star Background to create a dreamy little bib for baby. I borrowed the button from Blueprints 14 to finish off the bib closure and trimmed the Kraft card base with a strip of Sno Cone card stock using the Starry Night Stencil to add embossing.

Inside is another matching strip of embossed Sno Cone, Banana Split stars and a sentiment from Beautiful Baby in Sweet Tooth ink. I used the stitched edge of the Blueprints 14 square to die cut the top edge of the Sno Cone layer to coordinate with the stitched edge of the bib.

My third card tonight uses the Star Background stamp in a patriotic way with Red Hot stripes, Nightshift Blue, and a gold embossed sentiment from Happy Graduation.

The embossed stars and sentiment give this card a nice, crisp finish. The single Red Hot star is die cut from Sun, Moon & Stars Die-namics.

Inside is a simply stamped sentiment, also from Happy Graduation in Sweet Tooth ink.
