As soon as I saw the Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics, I knew I had to make some sort of baseball with them, and here's my version! After die-cutting my circle, I took the thin chevron stamp from Right This Way, shaped it into a half circle on my clear block and stamped the 'stitches' onto my Pierced Circle STAX baseball in Red Hot ink. Yes, I know, they're a little bigger than normal stitching on a baseball, but this is the world of papercrafting, right?! Who needs everything to scale, pish!
I layered a Nightshift Blue rounded rectangle from Blueprints 5 on Kraft and topped it with a Red Hot banner using Bitty Banners stamp set and Bitty Banners Die-namics. The Kraft stars were die-cut using the smallest Star STAX Die-namics. I used the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics in Gumdrop Green to form a soft landing for the baseball. The sentiment is from today's teaser set, LJD Birthday Greetings and is embossed in white embossing powder. Finally, the top and bottomedges of the Nightshift Blue layer is stamped with half of the chevron from Jumbo Mod Borders.
I hope you've enjoyed MFT Teasers Week as much as I have and are ready to party it up tonight at the MFT release party at SCS! I'm actually on a family vacation right now but hoping to pop in to say 'hi'! Thank you for all of your sweet, thoughtful comments you've left me this week, I love reading them and appreciate them all!
