Welcome to Day 2 of MFT Teasers Week! Today we're featuring another great floral set from Mona Pendleton Designs called Tropical Sensations, its coordinating Die-namics and Modern Morocco Die-namics, a fabulous background. The MFT Blog has complete details of today's products and a list of designers who will be teasing you with these and other new MFT products, so be sure to stop there!
I've created a wedding card using the large and small hibiscus blooms from Tropical Sensations in tone on tone Banana Split, Razzle Berry and Orange Fizz card stock and inks. The leaves are Gumdrop Green card stock and ink.
I've used the Modern Morocco Die-namics as a stencil on the Primitive White panel, spritzed over with Mix-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. It looks even better in real life! A burlap strip is held in place with Hemp Cord just above a nicely finished scalloped edge using one of the Blueprints 5 Die-namics edges. I have to tell you how much fun I've had using bits and pieces of Blueprints 5 to add fun details to my projects. Just another added benefit to the Blueprints kits - using them in parts and wholes!
Bring me down a notch if need be, but I love the inside of this card as much as the outside. I stamped the smaller hibiscus from Tropical Sensations in Pink Lemonade ink and topped the inside layer with LOVE from Accent It - Celebrate backed with a layer of Kraft card stock and embellished with a double strand of Hemp Cord and pink and orange rhinestones. The bottom edge of this layer was also scalloped with the same Die-namics piece of Blueprints 5. The sentiment stamped from Birthday Greetings is stamped in Tangy Orange ink, both products available on Tuesday, July 9th. I love that this sentiment has such versatility and can be used for more than birthdays!
Before I sign off, I'd like to wish you all a Happy 4th of July and thank you for the sweet comments you all left for me on yesterday's Teaser and WSC posts! You make my heart swell!
~Amy
