MFT Teasers Day 2: Dandelion Wishes

Welcome to Day 2 of My Favorite Things May Teasers week! Today I am showing off yet another gorgeous stamp set and the debut of Mona Pendleton Designs - Dandelion Wishes.

I stamped the dandelion stem in Factory Green ink repeatedly onto a layer of Factory Green cardstock without reinking to form a nice little cluster of stems. Each of the stems is topped with the dandelion seed head stamped in white ink, once again using a graduated stamping technic. I love how this turned out.

Next, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set and embossed it with gold embossing powder for a classy, finished look. The Factory Green layer is matted on a Steel Blue layer and then adhered to a Steel Blue card base for a clean and simple look that doesn't detract from the central image.

Here is a peek at the inside which mimics the repeated stems and seed head stamping with another gold embossed sentiment. This will make a great graduation card for either gender, don't you think?

I'm so glad you stopped by for today's teaser. Have you heard about all the great Teaser Week prizes being given away over at the MFT blog? Be sure to make an appearance over there to find out how you could win-win-win! I'll be back tomorrow with lots of projects using a set inspired by ME!
