MFT May Teasers Day 1

Welcome to MFT's May Teasers Day 1! You can find all of the information (including how to win-win-win) regarding today's Teaser stamp sets and Die-namics at the MFT blog, so be sure to stop over there if you haven't already been. I'm sharing two cards made with a lovely new set from Lisa Johnson Designs, Peaceful Wildflowers.

Peaceful Wildflowers is overflowing with gorgeous wildflower silhouettes, yet another must-have set from My Favorite Things. The card front above shows off just one of the silhouette stems from the set, stamped in a new ink color, Steel Blue, over and over until the ink was completely stamped off.

I topped the stems with a beautiful sentiment from the set in white ink: May you find peace this day.  My stamping is perfectly layered using the new Die-namics Blueprints 3.

Here is the inside of the card, stamped with the same stem silhouette and topped with yet another gorgeous sentiment. Once again, I used elements from Blueprints 3 for neat, precise layers.

My next card features the same stems, again stamped over and over until every last bit of Lemon Drop ink was gone. For a cheery contrast, I added a Red Hot 'hello' from the new Die-namics Happy Hellos.

The Steel Blue dots are from another fabulous set from Mona Pendleton. You are gonna flip for these backgrounds! I stamped off once to achieve a lighter version of the Steel Blue which lends itself perfectly to the bright Lemon Drop - Red Hot combination.

Last up is the inside which shows off a bit more of the stem silhouette stamp (my favorite) with a pop of red on the 'just a note' sentiment. And, there you have it - a peek at Peaceful Wildflowers.

Thanks for stopping in today and be sure to stop back later for my Wednesday Stamp Club card!
