It's a Monday Basket Challenge

A group of us at CHA found ourselves unable to resist purchasing PTI's Vintage Picnic among many other things at the PTI booth... Anyway, we wanted to make sure our communal purchase of Vintage Picnic wasn't in vain, so we issued a challenge to our little group to stuff our cute lil' PTI basket full of sumpin' and post it today.

Those cute little envies sticking out of the basket and coordinating sentiment (from Vintage Picnic Sentiments) are my favorite, so which stamps to use was an easy choice for me (although I adore the apples, so stay tuned for something later in the week). The colored envies are paper pieced and popped up for a little extra dimension, and my coordinating mail basket is colored with the same colors using reinkers and blender pen or aqua brush. I added a few little extras with a row of text above the scallop edge, using PTI's Text Style; a faux notebook edge; and embossed lines on the horizontal navy layer (a cool little thing Leigh and I spied at the PTI booth).

Let's see what the rest of the Vintage Picnic gals have up their sleeves, or should I say: in their baskets?!

Kirsten Dubosque
Leigh O'Brien
Joanne Basile
Christina Fischer
Carole Burrage

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to peek in tomorrow for somethin' swanky on TCP Tuesday!

  4. Another fabulous card, Amy. REALLY...you are so rockin' the PTI style...simple and beautiful. Don't you think you should come to MD and teach me this? I do! Bring little Georgie along with you and he can play with the little boy and we can stamp all day. Sounds good to me! Can't wait to see the apples since this card will be hard to top. :-)
