YNS New Release Hop

Welcome to the YNS New Release Blog Hop! You may have hopped here from Veronica's blog where you were treated to some fabulous goodies, I'm sure! When you're done here, you'll hop on over to Susan's blog for fun chatter and fabby eye candy! Refer to the hop order and links at the bottom of the post.

I am not kidding you when I say that you are definitely going to go bonkers over this release, so without further chatter, I'm going to show you something I made using Celebrate the Season -- a fun, whimsical set featuring traditional Christmas cookie images and coordinating sentiments. I've used two of the images on the apron pocket and on the recipe card itself. Other goodies on my 'baking apron' include a die cut evergreen tree from the newly released Your Next Die Tree Trio, buttons, sewing and fishtail banners.
The fonts used on the recipe card are Learning Curve and Courier New, and I think they compliment the vintage feel of the Authentique Festive 6x6 papers perfectly, giving that old fashioned country Christmas look I was aiming for with this apron. I think it could easily sit on a mini easel in the corner of your kitchen, holding those beloved family recipes that are reserved for the holidays. Call me sappy sentimental!

Be sure to check out the YNS Blog for all of the fantastic deals Karen has going on at the YNS Store and don't forget to visit and comment on each of the DT blogs for your chance to win prizes!
