Triple Challenge!

Happy Thursday! I've got a sweet, simple card for you today featuring Reverse Confetti's Seaside stamp set (one of my favorites) that I've combined with three current challenges from  The Card Concept // CASology // Freshly Made Sketches

To create ocean waves I die cut a layer of Cloud White cardstock with the Wonky Double Edge Scallop Border and then color washed purple ink on it. I then stamped and die cut the Seaside octopus using the Seaside Confetti Cuts and tied him up with hemp cord. I then added a sentiment from Fancy Words Coordinates because I thought it was sort of punny when combined with the octopus. ;-)

Take a look at the inspiration pieces from the challenges below and let me know what you think of my interpretation. Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Welcome to SugarPea Designs 3rd Birthday Bash Celebration!
We are so honored to have the opportunity to celebrate this incredible milestone that all of you helped make happen! Today’s festivities included some incredible inspiration from the SugarPea Design Team and some of our very Special Guests.

Now you can’t have a Birthday Bash without prizes and there are lots of prizes to be won! A few of our blog hop participants will be giving away a SugarPea Designs stamp set, so please leave comments for each hop participant for your chance to win! In addition to this, ONE lucky winner will be randomly chosen from all comments left to receive a $100 Gift Certificate to SugarPea Designs. You have until April 15th to enter to win. Winners will be announced on April 17th.
But that’s not all…we also want YOU to be part of the party by sharing a card with us.
Once you have completed the hop, we’d love it if you’d keep the celebration going, by creating a Birthday card or project and linking it up at the SugarPea Designs Blog for a chance to WIN a Mini MISTI and Creative Corners Tool.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge

Welcome to the weekend! I'm sharing a little something I made for the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge using some of my new favorites from Reverse Confetti.

The colors and patterns in the inspiration piece gave me that Aztec-boho vibe so prevalent in Reverse Confetti's latest release.

The soft fluffy pillows were calling me to take a nap, so I pulled out the Wild Words Confetti Cuts 'dream' and combined it with Tall Triangles Confetti Cuts which I watercolored individually with Zig markers. I purposely adhered the triangles in a bit of a wonky fashion like the pillows and then literally tied it all together and finished up with a few wood veneer stars.

I was tickled to have extra stamping time this week while on spring break...and extra nap time, too! Thanks for sharing a bit of your day with me. Have a great weekend!

CTD 434 - Wild & Free

Hello and welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! I just happen to be this week's hostess and I'm hoping you'll play along with our St. Patrick's Day themed color combo - green, black and gold. As always, the colors are generic, so use what you have on hand, and feel free to add in neutrals as well. If you're uploading to social media, use #colorthrowdown and #ctd434 and keyword CTD434 when uploading to public galleries. We'd also love to have you link up at the Color Throwdown blog as well.

My card uses Boho Vibes (I LOVE this set) and Boho Vibes Confetti Cuts. I used one of the arrows to create a background pattern and then layered a green fishtail banner that I trimmed with Edgers Confetti Cuts and stamped with a Boho Vibes sentiment.

March SFYTT

It's time for my March Sketch For You To Try post! I've teamed up this month's sketch with a few of the new Reverse Confetti goodies that were released on March 8th. If you haven't had a chance to see these amazing products, click on over to the RC store when you're finished here.

My card starts with a Cloud White A2 card base that I've layered with one of the Free Spirit patterned papers. The feathers from Boho Vibes were gold embossed on Sand cardstock. I'd initally intended to die cut them using the Boho Vibes Confetti Cuts but decided to hand trim them instead to show off more of that beautiful Sand cardstock. Finally, I white embossed the sentiment from Boho Vibes  on Iced Aqua and die cut it with the circle from Flowers For Mom

Here's a peek at the original sketch if you'd like to play along. Thanks for stopping by today!

SPD - Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

We're hopping today with more ideas for all of the circus themed goodies SugarPea Designs released last month. Remember to leave a comment here and on all of design team blogs listed below for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to SugarPea Designs store.

I can't get enough of the Life Is A Carnival patterned papers! I combined two of them with the SugarCut - Carnivalscape and a sentiment from Storybook Circus for a clean and simple look today.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a sweet day!
