Beautiful Birthday

Happy Friday, all!

My beautiful niece had a birthday this week, so I'm sharing the card I made for her using new goodies from Reverse Confetti. I'm also linking up with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes!

I started by embossing the gold portions of the You're So sentiment on a Cloud White card base and then color washed a light pink over it. I then added a swirl of gold thread topped with the coordinating You're So Confetti Cuts 'beatufiul' and a trio of wood veneer stars. I love the contrast of the wood and gold.

CASology cue card: toast

What color do you prefer your toasty in the morning - slightly lightly brown, deep toasty brown or plain ol' burnt toasty? I prefer mine just like my sweet little deer above - nice and toasty brown. I'm playing along with the current CASology cue card | toast and decided to take a more literal spin on it...sorta.

http://casology.blogspot.com/2016/12/week-229-toast.html

I adore coloring the Dawn Machell images from Reverse Confetti, and this little deer from Jolly Holiday is right up there on the Nice List. I colored him with Zig markers, giving him a sweet pink nose and soft grey scarf before popping him up on the new Bar Tag Layer Confetti Cuts tag. I layered it on a scrap of my favorite patterned paper from Fright Night to pull in that soft grey and clipped it together with a pink clothespin. Soft, sweet and simple!

I hope you're enjoying this holiday season in the way in which you enjoy it most.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your day with me.

Reverse Confetti December SFYTT

Happy Thursday! Is your week flying by, too? I'm popping in with a quick post to share my December Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) card using Christmas Blessings from Reverse Confetti.

I happened to have the large red Wreaths die cut lying on my desk and thought the Christmas Blessings sentiment paired nicely since the wreath design looks like connected hearts (to me).
I'm hoping you can squeeze in a bit of stamping time to play along with this month's sketch. It's a great way to get another Christmas card finished.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Holly Jolly Color Throwdown

Welcome to the final Color Throwdown Challenge of 2016. This week's colors are vibrant and festive, a great way to end the year with a bang! I'm so grateful to be a part of this challenge team - they're so full of fun and inspiration.

red | fuchsia | lime green

I've used the adorable S'more Love penguins from Reverse Confetti along with the Holly Jolly Tag Layer Confetti Cuts for my card. I'm so in love with this color combo and it totally reminds me of my Confetti Crew teammate, Jeanne's colorful creations.

Check out the links below for some great inspiration from the CTD team as well as our December guests. Remember to use keyword CTD423 on public galleries and #ctd423 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites so we can see your beautiful creations. Reverse Confetti New Release Hop

Have you shopped the new release at Reverse Confetti? If so, the Confetti Crew is on hand with more ideas and inspiration for your recent purchases, and if you're still 'just looking', we're here to help you out! I am so in love with this release (I know, broken record) and have two projects to share with you today using Outlined, Peekaboo Tag Layer and that adorable mini Mailbox Confetti Cuts die.

Is this mailbox the most adorable thing you've ever seen? This is my Christmas version, and I can't wait to create something for Valentine's Day, or how about a Secret Snowman (think Secret Santa) gift holder? Endless. After assembling the mailbox,  I tucked a few greens behind the flag and tied it up with twine and mini jingle bells.

Next up is a card with a peekaboo sentiment hidden under the Peekaboo Tag Layer Confetti Cuts. Can you guess what it is? I made the moon using two sizes of the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts and watercolored the background on Reverse Confetti Cloud White cardstock - my new favorite watercoloring paper!

Here's the reveal...

Ok, it's time to hop around for more ideas and inspiration following the order below. Thank you SO much for stopping by this week and for your sweet comments, too. I always love to hear what you think of the new products and my spin on them.

Countdown to Confetti + Color Throwdown 422

Happy Wednesday! It's a busy day on the blog with another sneak peek from Reverse Confetti's upcoming release on the 8th in combination with a new Color Throwdown Challenge. I'm sharing a card made with those adorable Mouse Mail mice and Figure of Speech, today's featured stamp and die set.

How about this inspiration piece and the bright, punchy colors?!

Lots of Confetti Cuts layered here - Mouse Mail, Figure of Speech, Dots Tag Layer and Star Garland. Reverse Confetti stamps and dies mix and match like a dream, and I'm sure this stamp from Figure of Speech pretty much sums up how these two cuties feel about one another...you can see it in their beady little eyes, lol!

Can you tell I'm having fun with the new products?! How's your list coming along? Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win that $15 gift certificate from Reverse Confetti as well as another given away to one lucky Facebook comment-or. And definitely head on over to the Reverse Confetti Blog for all designers sharing sneak peeks today.
