MFT Release Countdown - Day 7

Hi, and welcome to an exciting week of Release Countdown posts as we count down the days to the next release at My Favorite Things! Visit the MFT Blog for complete details of today's Release Countdown.

This month's release is all about celebrating and birthdays, and I'm featuring Blueprints 17 along with stamps from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings and Celebrate You.

Blueprints 17 has everything you need to create a custom sandwich board style chalkboard using your favorite color combos, stamps and embellishments. I chose a bright and cheery palette of Razzle Berry, Lemon Drop and Blu Raspberry.

My sign-board is stamped with Striped Background and topped with a sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings and a Blu Raspberry star included in Blueprints 17. The die cut star fits perfectly over the stamped star - love how MFT coordinates their stamps and dies!

Inside is a Blu Raspberry banner and a stamp from Celebrate You with plenty of space left open for a hand written note.

My next card uses the same color palette with a more masculine twist. Did you notice the great woodgrain detail on the sign boards?! Love.

I again used Striped Background with Lemon Drop Hybrid Ink and topped it with a sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings and die cut elements from Blueprints 17. Just for some fun movement, I twisted up the banner in Hemp Cord and combined the stars from Blueprints 17 with a larger star from Stacking Stars.

Celebrate You comes complete with birthday sentiments, gifts and bow stamps for custom gift design. I took advantage of that and stamped a fun gift inside to coordinate with the colors on the card front.

I hope you've enjoyed the first peeks at the new products set to be released on Tuesday, July 8th! There is more fun and celebration to come, so be sure to stop back here each day as well as the MFT Blog for complete release details.

Great cards! I love how you turned things around just a bit for the masculine card, but kept the same colors. Awesome job. Thanks for sharing.

Great cards, Amy! I love the woodgrain detail on the chalkboard stand. The masculine version is my favorite, love the twine strewn artfully about.
