MFT Dye Inks and the Centerpieces You Mean the World to Me Die-namics. I've had so much fun with this centerpiece, both last month and again today.
Laura Bassen featuring this watercolor technic and am pleased as punch that I gave it a whirl (thanks, Laura). Simply smoosh your acrylic block into desired stamp pad (color), spritz with water and press down over your embossed image.
globe and then went in and re-embossed (is that a word?) it in gold because the clear/white didn't pop enough against the bold, bright colors of those MFT Dye Inks. Check out the bottom of my post for a complete list of colors used.
Inside is kind of a watercolor matched look to the card front, and here's how I did it. I smooshed my ink pads onto an acrylic block and then used the ink to water color in the negative spaces of the sentiment portion of the Centerpieces World Die-namics with a tiny paint brush.
