NPT - Paper Bag Treat Box & Peek-a-Boos Die-namics

Are you ready for a few more teaser-temptations before completing your shopping experience over at the MFT  Boutique tonight?! Everything you've been teased with this past week can be found in the Brand Spankin' New section, or simply click on the direct links in the body of my post or at the bottom Inlinkz section. Let's get started cause the gang's all here!

I got busy with the Paper Bag Treat Box and Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics for my portion of tonight's New Product Tour and came up with five sweet, simple (to mass produce) and cute Halloween treat boxes for you!  Let's take a look at each of these cuties 1:1, shall we?!

Meet Jack. He's wearing an Orange Fizz suit, striped with our Plaid Builder Background in Orange Fizz ink and backed with a layer of Black Licorice card stock. Simply cut two of the Paper Bag Treat Bag Die-namics and then center and cut the jack-o-lantern face from Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Dienamics on one or both of the treat bags.

Next up is another really simple and fun design - Mummy! I simply cut additional strips of Primitive Cream card stock using the angled flag from Blueprints 6, adhered them in a wonky fashion on the front panel of the Paper Bag Treat Bags, trimmed the edges and popped two google eyes on top. You can also ink the edges of the individual strips if you'd like. MFT's Kraft ink is perfect for this look!

The Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics comes with a spider so adorable that I couldn't resist adding three of them to my Grape Jelly Paper Bag Treat Box. The spider web is also part of Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos and is backed with a layer of vellum.

Can't have a spider bag with a bat bag, cripe's sake! I can't wait to tell you how I made his cute little bat wings! I think you can figure out the basic box - 2 Black Licorice panels complete with google eyes, right? Ok, now for the wings: cut one of the Pierced Square STAX Die-namics, cut it in half diagonally, and then take a Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics (or something equivalent, even a circle punch) and die cut portions of the circle into the cut edge of the half square (now a triangle) to form your bat wing scallops. Adhere the 'wings' to the front side of the back panel before assembling your entire Paper Bag Treat Box and finally, give your cutie-pie bat a coat of Mix-ables Steel Shimmer Mist.

Last up is Frank. He's so cute I could marry him! Well, not really, but he is cute. You know the drill - cut out 2 Paper Bag Treat Bags in Sour Apple, but here comes the fun part: hair and makeup! Hair - Die-namics Grassy Edges in Black Licorice, using the negative space, sprayed with Mix-ables Steel Shimmer Mist. Tie - Blueprints 3 in Steel Grey card stock, stamped with stripes from Plaid Builder Background in Black Licorice ink. Side bolts (tee hee) - bottom half of #1 from Big Numbers Die-namics in Steel Blue, adhered to the back of the front panel.

I'm a visual learner myself, so I thought I'd share a picture of the bat wings, hair, mummy wrap and bolts to help you 'see' my creative process.

Thanks so much for all of your comments this week, I treasure them all!  Be sure to stop at the MFT Blog for links to NPT participants as well as anything and everything you need to know about the MFT August Release. Now, get going and shop yourself silly at the MFT Boutique!
